Decaf technologies
First step

The water-soaked coffee beans are placedin an airtight container where CO2 is injected at high pressure. The carbon dioxide extracts the caffeine,
dissolving it.
Second step

The caffeine-rich CO2 is then transferred to another chamber where the pressure is released, allowing the CO2 to turn back into a gas.
Third step

The carbon dioxide is separated from the caffeine using carbon filters, purified and reused.
Final

The flavor and aroma compounds remain inside the coffee bean throughout the caffeine removal process, maximizing the retention of all its natural characteristics.
